Saturday through Sunday, New York was pelted with about a foot of snow. We escaped with a lot less damage done than DC and even parts of the metropolitan region, but a good snow always can be fun. Attached are some photos I took on my way to and back from the gym on Saturday and Sunday.

In 2003 I spent some time in Ireland. I quickly discovered that the most fascinating things you can see with a few pints of Guinness in you are cows. OK, maybe not, but cows were pretty much everywhere and they rocked.

Sometimes I think film (whether Daguerreotype or digital), was invented for sunsets and sunrises. Indeed, many might say that God was invented (or that the existence of God is necessary) to explain a beautiful sunset — then you go into the science of how light scatters.
