Report: Countries prepping for cyberwar
Major countries and nation-states are engaged in a “Cyber Cold War,” amassing cyberweapons, conducting espionage, and testing networks in preparation for using the Internet to conduct war, according to a new report to be released on Tuesday by McAfee.
I have a hard time believing that only five countries are making a concerted effort to prepare to at least defend against CyberWarfare. Notably, I don’t buy that the UK and Canada are not on the defensive. But perhaps McAfee’s release related only toward those truly scaling up. One way or another, it’s interesting.
